GREEN AND CREME-AH WELL. UNFORTUNATELY, THE PICTURE MAKES IT LOOK A LOT BETTER THAN IT IS.

 

WILL HAVE TO SCRAPE OFF THE VINYL STRIP ALSO.  I'VE ALREADY READ HORROR STORIES ABOUT THIS JOB.

IF YOU AREN'T FAMILIAR WITH JOHN AND HIS RESTORATION OF THE FINN'S INN EXPRESS, YOU NEED TO EXPLORE THIS SITE. IT HAS A WEALTH OF GOOD INFO.

INTERIOR IS GENERALLY A PLEASANT SURPRISE.  STILL NOT SURE ABOUT THE GREEN MOTIF.  VERY SOLID. NO SIGN OF ANY LEAKS NOW OR IN THE PAST.  ALL WINDOW SEALS ARE TIGHT (EVEN IF A COUPLE HAVE CRACKED GLASS) AND NO SIGN OF ANY PROBLEMS ON THE CEILING. 

GOTTA DO SOMETHING ABOUT THOSE CURTAINS.  CURTAINS OR BLINDS?

 

THE MIGHTY CAT 3208 NATURALLY ASPIRATED DIESEL POWER PLANT.  NOT MUCH FOR SPEED, BUT MAKES UP FOR IT WITH IT'S INABILITY TO CLIMB HILLS.  1976 WAS THE FIRST YEAR BLUEBIRD OFFERED THE DIESEL IN THE WANDERLODGE.  NOT MANY OF THEM, BUT THIS IS ONE. 

 

SOME ANTI RUST WORK HERE AND PAINTING SHOULD DO THE TRICK.  BACK AC IS SHOT, BUT I CLEANED AND LUBED THE FRONT AND IT IS WORKING WELL.

UPDATE: PANELS HAVE BEEN REMOVED, SANDED AND PAINTED WHITE.  NOW I HAVE TO PUT THEM BACK UP THERE.  PICTURES TO FOLLOW.
